  • How long do I have to complete my training? We think 6-12 months is a suitable time to complete your training and receive your Yoga Alliance accreditation certificate. Sometimes life happens, so we work with you individually to help you stay on track and find a study plan that works for you.
  • How long will I have access to the course content for? You will have access to the course content for the life of the online platform.
  • Are there any prerequisites of entry requirements before I can complete this course? Practicing yoga and meditation is a great way for you to prepare for this course. We have a complimentary online library to help you start your journey.
  • Are there any assessments required to complete the course? Yes, each module is complete with a quiz to help guide you through important key points of the training. They are not graded, they are there for you to gage how you are absorbing the information and where to place more attention when needed.
  • Am I qualified to teach yoga after I complete this course? Yes. After completing our Yoga Alliance® certified training you are qualified to teach yoga, meditation and pranayama through yoga classes, workshops, retreats and more. We work closely with you to steer you down your own path and carve your niche, so you graduate with us doing what you love the most.
  • Is this course globally recognised? Yes, Mana Yoga trainings and courses are registered with Yoga Alliance. Yoga Alliance® is the largest nonprofit association representing the yoga community.

Patty Perlman

Patty is a senior teacher + the lead teacher for all Mana Yoga trainings. Patty is RYS 500 + ERYT 500. Patty has been practicing yoga for 20 years and teaching for 14. She is the founder of Mana Yoga Retreats, leads over 110 retreat guests per year, creates corporate programs and works exclusively with yoga teacher trainees. Her love for yoga and training teachers let her to made a training that is accessible to everyone and accessed from anywhere. Much of her time is spent in the great outdoors, and she believes this plays a big role in helping her create an authentic and down to earth training for the modern yogi.

Martin Collyer

Martin is a long term movement and yoga enthusiast. His yoga practice spans almost two decades, his diligent practice and exploration of movement and artistry around three decades. This passion led Marty to study physiotherapy full time at the University of Queensland, which he began in 2019. He is passionate about effectively using yoga in all its facets to explore what it means to be most deeply, fully and exquisitely in this project of being human. Moreover, he is deeply engaged in guiding new and established yoga teachers to find the most elegant expression of their work.

Shae Gready

Shae is a proud graduate from Mana Yoga’s first class of teacher trainees - Vinyasa and Yin. Shae found her authentic teaching voice, influenced by a combination of shared knowledge, ancient wisdom and her own personal experiences and realisations through the practice of self reflection, acceptance and understanding. Shae now leads retreats for Mana and teaches weekly classes from her home studio.

Jana Jones

Jana Jones is the owner of Zen Yoga + Pilates and is the warm and loving face of our favourite yin yoga classes. Her knowledge of assisting and modifying poses to suit a variety of bodies shines strong through her gentle and dedicated practice. She has been a student of yoga and Buddhism for nearly 20 years and holds a degree in psychology. Her extensive study of yoga philosophy shines through in our training discussions..
