Let’s ski! Nestled between the Pisa Mountain Range and Lake Wakatip lives the adventure capital of the world Queenstown, New Zealand. After many trips to this breathtaking micro city, Mana Yoga Retreats has gathered the “Best Of” of Queenstown to bring you Mana Yoga Snow Retreat 2016.
Once you arrive in Queenstown everything for your all inclusive week of skiing and yoga is organised for you. You will be picked up in our private mini bus for a 10 minute ride to Mana Yoga Retreats lodge that sits up looking over the iconic Shotover River. Our large and extravagant 5 bedroom 6 bathroom house has panoramic mountain views and is only 10 minutes to downtown Queenstown and Coronet Peek Ski Field.
Our mission is to take you deeper into your yoga practice with a relaxed class style that will allow your body to strengthen and thrive in every pose. Yoga will take place daily in the yoga room. Morning classes will be strong and invigorating with a focus on twisting, warming the spine, and firing the appropriate muscles for your day of skiing. Evening classes will include Yin Yoga to work into your joints and connective tissues, followed by a guided Yoga Nidra meditation. This combination will provide deep restoration after your day of skiing or snowboarding.
Breakfast, lunch, and dinner* during your stay is included in all Mana Yoga Retreats. Our menu is designed to bring you well balanced, healthy, and delicious meals. All dishes are made with organic and locally sourced produce and can be tailored to your needs. All meals can be enjoyed in our large open plan dining room while listening to the crackling of the fire in our large stone fireplace. Healthy snacks, drinks, smoothies and bone broths are included and available at all times in the kitchen.
Apres Ski involves winding down in the hot tubs with a glass of wine while taking in the views of the Mountains and Shotover River, relaxing by the fire place, indulging in spa treatments, and exploring Queenstown.
